In a commanding performance, the Oklahoma State Cowboys shut out the Murray State Racers with a resounding 59-0 victory. Quarterback Drew Mestemaker shone brightly, throwing five touchdown passes and setting impressive records in what was a significant nonconference matchup. The Cowboys, who were coming off an upset victory against Oregon, showcased their offense and special teams, including a notable blocked field goal by Luke Webb. This win serves as a final tune-up before Oklahoma State heads into Big 12 play, with head coach Eric Morris emphasizing the need for continued improvement. The Cowboys aim to build on their success and maintain momentum as they prepare for future challenges.
