In the Chicago area, multiple rounds of strong to severe storms are anticipated, with severe thunderstorm warnings already issued. The National Weather Service has put out a Hazardous Weather Outlook due to forecasts of heavy rain and a flood threat. Local residents should prepare for humid and stormy conditions beginning Sunday, which may last well into the week. Flood advisories are currently in effect, particularly for areas like Will County near the DuPage River, where recent heavy rain has led to flooding of roads and homes. As a warm Saturday gives way to stormy weather, residents are urged to exercise caution and limit water usage amid ongoing rainfall.
