Southeastern Michigan is experiencing an active weather pattern marked by high heat and humidity, with several rounds of severe thunderstorms expected throughout the week. A Heat Advisory has been issued for much of the region as temperatures are projected to reach the low 90s, feeling as hot as 102 degrees. Severe storms are forecasted to develop quickly, particularly targeting the Thumb area later today, while models indicate less storm activity elsewhere. As September begins, residents should prepare for potentially damaging winds and changing weather conditions. Rain showers and scattered thunderstorms are also on the radar as the intense heat continues.
