In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, authorities have charged 14 individuals, including current and former Penn State fraternity members, in a large-scale cocaine operation allegedly tied to two fraternities. Prosecutors describe the ringleader as a New York man at the top of the structure, with additional charges against a Pittsburgh attorney identified as the father of one of the accused. The operation reportedly involved pledges at the fraternity houses, who were instructed to cut and package the narcotics. The recent developments have drawn attention from university officials and highlight serious concerns regarding drug use among students at Penn State.
