Strong storms have recently battered the San Antonio area, leading to significant power outages affecting over 100,000 customers, with many still without electricity several days later. City officials and CPS Energy have warned that power restoration could take an extended period. The storms resulted in business closures, tree crashes causing evacuations, and widespread damage across neighborhoods. Flash flood warnings were issued as heavy rains and gusty winds swept through, further complicating recovery efforts. Local officials are assessing the damage, and residents are urged to report any hazards as the city begins to clear debris and restore services.
