A tumultuous incident has emerged within the TCU football program after a locker room assault left player Dozie Enukanma hospitalized for three days with a brain bleed. The assault allegedly involved former player Jacob Fields, who has since been charged with aggravated assault for his actions during the altercation. Reports indicate that the incident stemmed from competitiveness during practice, leading to Fields attacking Enukanma. In the aftermath, TCU faced backlash for their handling of the situation, including the revocation of credentials from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for its coverage. Coach Sonny Dykes has made initial comments addressing the incident as the program navigates growing calls for accountability amidst a troubling environment for players.
