In a series of closely watched primaries in Wyoming, Rep. Harriet Hageman secured victory in the Republican Senate primary, supported by former President Trump. Hageman is set to compete against Democrat James Byrd in the upcoming general election for the U.S. Senate seat. Meanwhile, Eric Barlow won the GOP nomination for governor, defeating a Trump-backed opponent. Barlow will face Democrat Kasner and Constitution Party candidate Bextel in the gubernatorial race. The results highlight a mixed outcome for Trump’s endorsements in the state, as his choice for governor lost in the primary while Hageman advanced in the Senate race.
