Central Indiana is bracing for severe weather as multiple storms bring heavy rainfall, raising concerns of flash flooding across the region. Flood Watches are in effect, particularly for northeastern counties, as forecasts predict up to 10 inches of rain in some areas. Flash Flood Warnings have already been issued for several counties, including Muncie and New Castle, with reports of life-threatening conditions and significant road damage. School closures and travel advisories have been prompted by rising waters and dangerous flooding conditions, especially in eastern Indiana. Residents are advised to remain vigilant as the threat of slow-moving storms continues through the evening.
