In a recent move, the Miami Dolphins have traded with the Green Bay Packers to acquire quarterback Kyle McCord. This trade comes as the Dolphins look to address their backup quarterback needs following the depletion of their depth during roster cutdowns. Formerly a standout quarterback for the Packers, McCord is expected to serve as a backup to Malik Willis. The Packers sent McCord to Miami in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round draft pick, marking another notable shift in the team’s quarterback roster amidst ongoing changes. Analysts have mixed opinions on the trade, suggesting it may have implications for both teams moving forward.
