The New York Police Department (NYPD) has heightened security measures following the sighting of three individuals emerging from a manhole on the Upper East Side. This unusual event occurred near a hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to stay for the United Nations General Assembly. The police are actively investigating after reports of the three suspects climbing out of the sewer, prompting fears of an underground community in the city. Security personnel, including the Secret Service, are involved in the heightened response as the mystery deepens with recurring sightings of people popping out of manholes across New York City.
