Former Congressman Eric Swalwell is under federal investigation as the FBI has raided his home and seized multiple electronic devices in connection with allegations of sexual misconduct. This inquiry is reportedly tied to accusations involving a former suspected Chinese spy, known as Fang Fang, with whom Swalwell had admitted to having a relationship. The investigation raises serious questions regarding his conduct while in office, as well as potential misuse of power. Meanwhile, top Democrats have remained silent following the vindication of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who previously took action to boot Swalwell off the House Intelligence Committee amidst these growing concerns.
