In a series of remarkable rescues following devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet, rescuers have successfully saved multiple individuals who had been trapped for days. Two men were pulled alive from a tunnel after nine days, while a 64-year-old woman was found in her mud-buried home ten days after the disaster. A Chinese national was also rescued from a hydropower tunnel after spending ten days underground. Despite these miraculous finds, the challenging conditions have hampered ongoing rescue efforts, with hundreds still feared trapped in the hydropower tunnels. As rescue teams work around the clock, families remain hopeful for the safe return of their loved ones.
