In a significant diplomatic development, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio reportedly ordered the Iranian delegation to the United Nations to leave New York ahead of schedule following stalled negotiations. This order comes after talks intended to foster peace have failed to yield results, prompting Rubio to act decisively. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has since rejected claims of expulsion, stating that the delegation left in accordance with a previously communicated schedule. As tensions escalate, the situation remains critical, with both sides entangled in a complex web of diplomatic challenges.
