Multiple Arrests Made in Deadly Chelan Hills Wildfire Investigation
In a series of developments surrounding the Chelan Hills wildfire that resulted in significant destruction, including the loss of life and the destruction of homes, law enforcement has arrested multiple individuals. The U.S. Marshals Service, alongside local authorities, apprehended several suspects including three Tacoma-area teens who are believed to be responsible for igniting the fire with fireworks. Investigators have released videos showing the suspects using Roman candles and other fireworks from a moving truck, which are suspected to have sparked the blaze. A total of several arrests have been made in connection to the investigation, with at least one suspect pleading not guilty to charges related to the fire, which burned over 10,000 acres and caused extensive damage.
