Tom Tiffany, a Republican representative and gubernatorial candidate from Wisconsin, experienced a harrowing incident when his private plane was forced to make an emergency water landing in Lake Wausau. Following the incident, Tiffany swam to safety and sustained only minor injuries. Authorities promptly rescued both Tiffany and the pilot, who were both reported safe after the plane lost power. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are set to investigate the circumstances surrounding the emergency landing.
