Former President Trump has announced that the US Navy has successfully cleared all mines from the Strait of Hormuz, an essential shipping route for oil. While Trump warns Iran against any further placement of mines, tensions escalate as an oil tanker was recently attacked in the region. Trump has threatened Oman, a key ally, stating that any interference with efforts to maintain peace in the strait will not be tolerated. The former president dismissed any ongoing negotiations with Iran, emphasizing that they are not ready to make a deal favorable to the US. As the situation develops, Iran has vowed to escalate its actions in response to US sanctions.
