In a closely contested NFL season opener, the Seattle Seahawks triumphed over the New England Patriots with a score of 13-10, despite losing quarterback Sam Darnold just five snaps into the game due to a hip injury. Initial assessments ruled out a fracture, but further tests are pending to determine the extent of the injury. Darnold was replaced by Drew Lock, who led the team effectively, playing a key role in the comeback win. Seahawks owner Vinod Khosla expressed concern over the dramatic match that saw the team intercept Patriots quarterback Drake Maye three times. While the Seahawks celebrated their victory, Maye faced scrutiny after throwing three interceptions, acknowledging his mistakes. The game marked a memorable opening for the Seahawks, who are now looking to build on this victory as they prepare for their next match against the Cardinals.
