In a stunning display of dominance, the No. 21 Oregon Ducks routed Portland State 84-0, setting new program records in the process. The game, marked by aggressive tactics and prolific performances from true freshmen, saw Oregon bounce back from a prior disappointing loss. However, head coach Dan Lanning faced criticism for the sportsmanship exhibited during the blowout. Despite missing two key offensive players, the Ducks managed to score an impressive 49 points in the first half alone, prompted by standout performances, including four touchdown passes from Dante Moore. Fans have voiced mixed reactions, with some calling the victory classless. As the Ducks look forward to their next challenge, questions about their tactics and future performance linger.
