Recent reports have highlighted troubling conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, a US aircraft carrier deployed in the Middle East. Families of sailors have expressed outrage over the lengthy deployment, with claims of food shortages and mental health issues among the crew. President Trump has dismissed these concerns, stating that the deployment duration has not been long enough, which has infuriated military families. Activists and military veterans are calling for urgent attention to the dire situation, which has led to instances of sailors attempting to overboard amid the mental strain. The Navy is expected to relieve the USS Lincoln soon, as new carrier operations in the region ramp up.
