Authorities are actively seeking two teenage suspects in the fatal shooting of Penn State student Billy Schmidt in South Philadelphia. Police have identified the suspects, both 16-year-old boys, and have issued arrest warrants following the incident that allegedly stemmed from a stolen phone. The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to their capture, while a $5,000 reward has also been confirmed for each suspect separately. The tragic incident occurred as Schmidt was walking home after watching the NBA Finals. In connection with the investigation, the stepfather of one suspect has been charged with hindering apprehension.
