This weekend, the Chicago area is bracing for the possibility of heavy rain and gusty winds, although there will be some dry spells. Notably, the Air and Water Show has been delayed due to fog as heavy rain narrowly missed most of the area. Despite lingering rain and cloudy conditions today, there is hope for sunshine this afternoon. Forecasts indicate more rain could return later in the week, with concerns about how much precipitation Chicago might experience in August.
