Tiger Woods Enters Plea Deal Over DUI Case, Faces 5-Year License Suspension

Tiger Woods has reached a plea agreement in his DUI case, resulting in a five-year suspension of his driver’s license. The agreement, which led Woods to change his plea to no contest regarding a reckless driving charge related to a rollover crash in Florida, was accepted during a court appearance where he was accompanied by his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump. The state attorney cited insufficient evidence of impairment, allowing Woods to avoid a DUI conviction. As part of the plea deal, Woods was warned by the judge that he must abide by the driving ban, which includes not operating any vehicles, including golf carts.
