In a series of developments regarding the Nord Stream pipeline explosions, Croatian police have arrested two Ukrainian nationals suspected of involvement in the incidents that occurred in 2022. The arrests were made following European arrest warrants issued by German prosecutors. The first suspect was apprehended while working as a diver in Croatia, and the second, identified as Volodymyr Zhuravlev, was detained during a film shoot. German authorities are pursuing legal actions to extradite the suspects for trial related to the alleged sabotage of the gas pipelines. This series of arrests adds to ongoing investigations, with Kyiv looking into whether Russia may have staged the attacks to implicate Ukrainians.
